Misguided Beauty
i feel like so many of us girls (+ guys) are misguided by society
about the meaning of beauty. we are told that our beauty +
worth is determined by what we see when we look in the mirror,
the numbers we see on the scale, or the clothes we wear. but the
beautiful + reassuring thing about this is that our worth is NOTHING
close to that of what society says!! our worth comes from the fact
that we were made in the image + likeness of God! + He loves you
unconditionally for everything you were created to be. soooo :)
next time you feel pressured or degraded by society, say to God,
you created me fearfully + wonderfully, help me to see myself as you
do! don’t let Satan try to trick you into doubting your beauty + worth !!
